Typing Master for Mac

TypingMaster is not available for Mac but there are plenty of alternatives that runs on macOS with similar functionality. The best Mac alternative is Klavaro, which is both free and Open Source.

What is Rašyti?

Rašyti is a multilingual and multi-keyboard online touch typing trainer, currently covering 28 languages. It offers a great variety of lessons, which depend on the level of the user, from beginner to expert. As an aid for beginners, it shows the keys to be pressed and the finger to be used. Advanced users may hide the hints. Rašyti is the ideal touch typing trainer for individuals, companies or any other organization like universities etc.

It can be used online as a web service or within a private network in the intranet of organizations but also as an offline application for Linux, Windows and MacOS.

4. Amphetype

What is amphetype?

Amphetype is a layout-agnostic typing program aimed at people who don’t need an on-screen keyboard, but would still like to improve their speed and accuracy.

Some features:
  1. WPM, accuracy, and viscosity (as the opposite of fluidity) statistics on texts, words, keys, and trigrams. Historical data can be grouped in several different ways (by days, averages of 10, etc.).
  2. You can generate text fragments to type from Project Gutenberg or any other plain text source to practice typing with your favorite novel. There’s even an option that lets you type texts in order, fragment by fragment. Read a book with your fingers!
  3. Advanced lesson generation: auto-review slow and mistyped words after every text or generate custom lessons to practice problem words, keys, trigrams, etc.
