Tencent Gaming Buddy Official PUBGMOBILE Emulator for PC

Since the release of PUBGMobile, many third party programs have been used as emulators to play on PCs. After this change, Tencent PUBGMobile publisher, also released the Official Emulator for PUBGMobile, which was named Tencent Gaming Buddy!

Tencent Gaming Buddy is an excellent Android emulator specially created by Tencent for their games so the compatibility and performance are incredible. However, in order to avoid unbalances, for PUBG you’ll be playing with servers where the rest of the players also use a PC.

How to Setup the Official PUBGMobile Emulator

Emulator feature

i). Menu

This menu button has many important functions, such as rotate (to rotate the emulator screen), volume (to adjust the volume of the game), clear chache (to correct crashes, failure when logging on), show fps (display frames per second), and emulator settings .

We will explain more about setting the emulator in the next section.

ii). Key Mapping

Key Mapping is used to set all the keys used when you play the game.

We will explain further about the key mapping in the next section.

iii). Full Screen

The Full Screen button is used to hide the UI emulator completely, so the PUBGMobile game will fill the screen like the PC version of PUBG.

iv). Multi-Window

The Multi-Window button is used if you want to open another PUBGMobile game client at the same time, this is useful if you want to try playing the duo with yourself lol.

There are 3 settings in the Emulator Settings:

1). Basic Settings

In the basic settings you can set whether you want to run the emulator when your PC is on, key boss (to open a gaming lobby gaming buddy when you play), screen capture (to set the location of screenshots or videos saved), and choose the emulator language.

2). Engine Settings

This setting is the same as the graphics settings in the game, but gives you more choices. You can change the settings here according to the specifications of the computer you have. But we recommend leaving this setting in the default settings.

3). Game Settings

Just like the Engine Settings, this setting will only affect your graphics. We recommend leaving this setting in the default setting.

Key Mapping

The Key Mapping setting is where you have to go when you want to change the control key, on your keyboard when you play with the emulator. Here you can click each key and replace it with another key that you want. We recommend that you not change anything, other than your keyboard keys if you don’t feel comfortable.

You can also use the gamepad, but you have to set each key one by one. This is different from the previous keyboard settings and certainly will be more time consuming.

In-game settings

Now you might think where do you change the mouse sensitivity settings on this emulator? This setting turns out to be in the sensitivity settings menu in the game. For this mouse setting, it will depend on your mouse dpi. (dpi is how sensitive your mouse cursor is when moving the mouse)

Mouse users usually have mouse sensitivity ranging from 800 – 1000 dpi, which makes your mouse feel neither too fast nor slow when moving the cursor. With the dpi distance, we recommend that you set all sensitivity in this setting menu to 15% or lower.

At the 1000 dpi mouse that we have, we have tried this setting and felt like playing a fps game on a PC generally. But of course, all of that will depend on your individual preferences in the end.
